BHDP at Health Data Research (HDR) UK
HDR UK hosted its annual conference in October 2025, bringing together researchers, data specialists, and innovators from across the UK to share ideas, showcase progress, and explore the future of health data science. We were delighted to attend and exhibit at this year’s event, which provided an inspiring space to learn about some of the most impactful research projects currently taking place across the country.
Throughout the day, we connected with a wide range of delegates and organisations who, like us, are passionate about improving access to data and driving forward research that makes a real difference.
Evan, our talented Data Warehouse Engineer, represented our team in the poster forum, presenting our ongoing work and the innovative approaches we have been developing over the past few years. His presentation gained significant interest, sparking valuable conversations and questions from attendees who were keen to understand more about our data infrastructure and collaborative projects.
Our exhibition stand was positioned among leading institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and several other SDE platforms, all united by a shared goal: to streamline and strengthen the research process.
Despite being in great company, what truly made us stand out was our access to rich, ethnically diverse, and multicultural health datasets, something not widely available across the UK. This diversity enables researchers to produce more inclusive, representative insights and ultimately supports better outcomes for all communities.
The HDR UK conference was a fantastic opportunity to highlight our contribution to the research landscape, strengthen existing partnerships, and spark new collaborations for the future. We look forward to building on the momentum from this event and continuing to play our part in shaping the future of health data innovation.
